If you are in the reserves that means you have not been drafted. Several reasons that could be like you only have the demo or there is no slot open in the attack squads. You have to play hard and wish real bad to get up to a squad beacause only the elite of the elite get drafted.
M.I.A.
If you are M.I.A. all it means is you have been lost and not seen for weeks maybe months. If you make it back from the front and are still willing to get back out there drop a high ranking officer a line so he can send you back to your squad.
